TikTok unban service intake checklist: what to gather first

Most of this file takes one sitting to collect, and it may show that the free route is all you need. Do it before you talk to anyone, us included.

A TikTok unban service can only work from what you bring, so gather the notice wording, stated reason, appeal state, any deadline, ownership proof and login status first. TikTok's own appeal is free, no outside party can override its decision, and your password and codes stay off the list.

What does a TikTok unban service need from me?

Five items you collect yourself, and none of them is a login. Anyone reading your case needs them, and two of them may tell you on the spot that you need nobody.

AccountRecovery is an independent service that reads this kind of file for people locked out of their own accounts and prepares appeal wording from it. TikTok reviews the appeal and decides. The same file works with any helper, and the questions for vetting a recovery service on any platform apply whichever one you pick.

The intake file, in the order to collect it
ItemWhere it livesWhat it settles
Notice textThe banner at login, or Inbox, then System notifications, then Account updatesWhat you are actually answering. Copy it word for word, with the date and the post or feature it names.
Reason shown in the appThe same notice, plus your account status screenWhich of TikTok's listed ban reasons applies, and whether it leaves a mistake to point at.
Appeal state and deadlineThe ban notification, and your own memory of whether you tapped AppealNot filed, filed or decided, and the ban date that any clock runs from.
Ownership proofYour linked email or phone, original video files, documents for a brand nameThat the account is yours. TikTok's ban pages publish no proof list, so this one is our working list.
Login statusOne attempt to open the accountWhether you have a ban, or an access problem that needs a different route.

Account status rates your violation history over the last 90 days as Healthy, Fair, Severe or Banned, and TikTok's violations page says it also keeps the record of violations behind that rating.

What stays off the list

  • Your password, or a "temporary" one you plan to change afterwards.
  • 2-step verification codes, authenticator keys and the TOTP recovery code.
  • Session cookies, or a logged-in device handed to someone else.
  • Access to the email or phone linked to the account.
  • Your ID photos or card details. Under-age checks go through TikTok's own process, never through a helper's inbox.

Copy everything before you tidy anything. TikTok says deleting violative content does not remove the violation, an approved appeal cannot restore what you already deleted, and deleting appealed content under review may leave the violation on your record even if you win.

Login status: a ban and a lockout are different problems

A banned owner can still log in, because that is where the appeal and the data download live. So if you never reach the banner, you may not be dealing with a ban at all.

  • You reach the ban banner. Tap Appeal from that notification, and request your data while you are there.
  • Password or reset fails. Under Help, then Recover your account, TikTok's friends verification needs at least 2 friends you are connected with, and the requests are limited each day.
  • Authenticator lost. Tap Can't access the app and enter the TOTP recovery code. Without that code, Need more help starts an identity check that TikTok says may take up to 30 days.

Write down which of these you hit, and the exact screen. A helper who skips this question will draft an appeal for an account that may only need a reset.

Which situation is yours, and what does it add to the file?

Each situation adds its own items to the five above, and TikTok's pages support only some of these distinctions. Where they stop, AccountRecovery says so instead of filling the gap.

Suspended or restricted

The TikTok help pages we read on November 5, 2026 do not use "suspended" as a formal status. They describe temporary restrictions on features, such as posting a comment, and permanent bans. Add the feature that stopped working and the date of each violation, since violations expire after 90 days. If the app offers optional policy training, finishing it may lift eligible restrictions. A TikTok suspended account recovery service has little to add to either. Government, politician and news accounts run on separate published terms, including 90 days out of the For You and Following feeds.

Permanently banned

Add the listed reason, matched against TikTok's own list: minimum age, deceptive impersonation, a severe violation, a second account used to dodge a penalty, multiple violations, multiple intellectual property violations, or an account that exists solely to break rules. Then mark the one thing you can show was a mistake. A TikTok permanently banned account recovery service, however it describes itself, has only that argument to work with. TikTok deletes personal data after a period it does not state on that page, so request your data today.

Under-age flag

This is the one ban with a published calendar, from TikTok's underage appeals page.

Under-age ban clock, counted from the ban date
Where you areAppeal and data windowAccount deleted on
Most places113 daysDay 120
EEA, UK, Switzerland180 daysDay 187
United States23 daysDay 30

Add your date of birth as registered and which age check you can complete. Depending on age and location the options are a government ID with 3 selfies, a real-time selfie with ID through Incode (you get 15 minutes), a small refunded card authorization if you are 18 or over, or facial age estimation. A refused appeal may also change the date of birth on the account. Only you can do any of this, and a prepared data file stays available for up to 4 days.

Creator or business with revenue

Add what stopped: the whole account, or money features only. TikTok's transaction policy page describes a separate ban that can cover LIVE Gifts, getting coins and reward payments, notified by direct message in your inbox. That page lists no appeal steps of its own. TikTok also says monetizing creators are held to a higher bar under a creator code of conduct. We found no separate route for business accounts, and income is not named as an appeal ground, so keep payout records as context rather than as your argument.

Hacked, then banned

Add the takeover date and screenshots of the signs TikTok lists: a changed password or phone number, a changed username, videos posted or deleted without you, messages you did not write. TikTok's pages describe no special lane for this sequence, so the appeal is an ordinary mistake appeal with a timeline attached. Regain the login first, reset the password, and remove unknown devices under Manage devices. A banned TikTok account recovery service cannot shortcut that order. Instagram works differently, as the stop-by-stop route for a hacked Instagram account shows.

How a file moves once it is gathered

What does a TikTok unban service do with all this? It reads and writes; everything that touches TikTok stays with you. Here is the TikTok unban service explained as AccountRecovery runs it, which is also the plain version of a TikTok account appeal service.

  1. You send the file

Copies only, in the order above, with nothing that would let another person sign in.

  2. We read the reason against TikTok's list

You hear whether there is a mistake to point at. If there is none, or the free appeal is plainly enough, we tell you that.

  3. Wording is prepared

One stated reason, one disputed fact, the evidence for it, one request.

  4. You log in and press Appeal

TikTok notifies you of the result. The pages we read give no review time for ordinary bans, so we will not quote one.

The same file-first habit carries over to Meta, where a case file for a disabled Instagram account asks for different papers.

Can a former TikTok Trust & Safety title be checked?

Not from a sales page, and even a true title gives no access to the decision. TikTok describes review as the work of its own Trust and Safety team, and someone who has left is no longer on it.

So read "TikTok banned account recovery led by a former TikTok Trust & Safety specialist" as a claim you cannot test from where you sit. We are not calling any seller a liar. AccountRecovery claims no such background and has no staff or contacts inside TikTok, which is why this page argues from the notice and not from a biography.

Ask banned TikTok account recovery specialists for things you can check: a business name, a written scope, a refund policy and a blank copy of the structure they draft in. The same goes for TikTok permanently banned account recovery expert help.

What marks a legitimate TikTok unban service?

A legitimate TikTok unban service asks for your file and not your login, says the appeal is free and that TikTok decides, and will tell you when you do not need it. A professional TikTok unban, in the only honest sense, is a second reader and clean wording. A TikTok unban service professional earns that on messy records, such as several violations where only one looks wrong. The BBB's alert of October 27, 2023 lists the opposite signs: they contact you first, claim special access, guarantee results, want gift cards or crypto, keep adding fees, or ask for login codes.

What do TikTok unban service costs depend on?

They depend on how much reading and drafting your file needs, because the TikTok side carries no fee on any page we read. AccountRecovery publishes no price here and no market range, because it could not verify one.

These parts are free, so nobody should bill you for access to them:

  • The in-app appeal and the Download your data tool.
  • Optional policy training, Recover your account and friends verification.
  • An under-age card check, whose small temporary charge TikTok says it refunds.
  • In the EU, Appeals Centre Europe, which takes TikTok decisions from the last six months, charges users no fee at present, aims to decide within 90 days (180 if complex), and issues non-binding decisions.

What a seller can reasonably charge for is narrower. By our own reasoning, not any published tariff, the drivers are the number of violations that need separate reading, the volume of evidence, and how close a deadline sits. Follower count should not move the fee. Neither should "another attempt" or "verification software", both of which the BBB treats as warning signs.

Before paying anyone, us included, get price, scope and refund terms in writing, and compare the fee against when paid recovery help is worth it at all. Facebook buyers hit the same ceiling, covered in what Meta's limits leave for outside helpers.

What AccountRecovery declines

Some files stop at intake, whatever the fee, because no honest appeal exists for them.

  • Ban evasion through new accounts. TikTok lets people hold several accounts, yet it may restrict or ban any account used to avoid a penalty on another, while that penalty stays active. We will not help set one up or keep one alive.
  • Severe violations you do not dispute, including youth exploitation, threats of violence and trafficking.
  • Anyone else's account: a partner's, an ex's, an employee's, a competitor's, or a deceased person's outside the platform's legal route.
  • Password cracking, session or code interception, or getting around verification.
  • Under-age users presented as adults, and bought or transferred accounts.

General guidance, read from TikTok's help pages on November 5, 2026. TikTok can change them, and only TikTok decides an appeal.

Questions people ask next

What does a TikTok unban service need from me, and what should I refuse to send?

It needs the exact notice wording, the reason shown in the app, whether you have already appealed, any deadline, proof the account is yours and a note of what happens when you try to log in. It does not need your password, a 2-step code, an authenticator key, a TOTP recovery code, a session cookie or access to your linked email or phone. An appeal runs from your own login, so a helper has no working reason to hold any of those, and a request for them should end the conversation. Government ID and card details belong in TikTok's own age process, never in a chat. If you are unsure what proof applies, send copies of what you have: linked contact details with most digits masked, original video files, documents for a brand name. Masked copies are enough for a first read.

What does a TikTok unban service do that I can't do myself?

Very little that is technical, since you press Appeal either way. With the TikTok unban service explained as a job, it is reading and drafting: someone matches your notice against the permanent-ban reasons TikTok lists, tells you whether there is a mistake to point at, and writes the appeal around one disputed fact. Does a TikTok unban service reach a reviewer, move you up a queue or pause a deletion date? No, and a seller who says otherwise is describing something TikTok does not offer. A TikTok account appeal service may help when several violations sit on the record and you must choose which to argue, or when the wording is confusing. On a plain error, the in-app appeal alone is a sensible first move, and AccountRecovery will say so when the file points that way.

Is a professional TikTok unban different from filing the appeal alone?

Only in who drafts the words. A professional TikTok unban still enters through the notification in your own account, and no TikTok page we read on November 5, 2026 describes a separate desk for paid appeals. So judge a TikTok unban service professional by the draft, which should quote your stated reason, dispute one thing and name its evidence. A legitimate TikTok unban service will also say that TikTok's route is free, that TikTok decides, and that it cannot promise a result. Ask for a business name, a written scope and a refund policy before any payment. Long letters, legal-sounding threats and follower counts answer nothing in the notice. AccountRecovery uses the word professional for neither itself nor its people. It offers a second reading of your file, and you can test that reading against TikTok's published ban reasons yourself.

What drives TikTok unban service costs, and which parts should be free?

TikTok unban service costs come from the seller's time, not from TikTok, because no TikTok page we read lists an appeal fee. The in-app appeal, the data download, optional policy training and friends verification are free to use. An under-age card check makes a small temporary charge that TikTok says it refunds, and Appeals Centre Europe charges users no fee at present. Reasonable price drivers are how many violations need separate reading, how much evidence there is and how near a deadline sits. Those drivers are our reasoning, not a published tariff, and we print no range because we could not verify one. Refuse repeat charges for software, verification or another attempt, which the BBB's 2023 alert treats as warning signs. Get price, scope and refund terms in writing, from us as from anyone, and pay by credit card where you can.

Should I pay for TikTok banned account recovery led by a former TikTok Trust & Safety specialist?

Not because of that line. A title of that kind cannot be verified from a sales page, and it would give no access to the decision even if true, because TikTok's own team reviews and decides. AccountRecovery claims no such background and has no inside contacts. We are not saying any seller is lying, only that you cannot confirm it from where you sit and that it should not be what you are paying for. Ask banned TikTok account recovery specialists for what you can check: a business name, a written scope, a refund policy, and a blank copy of their appeal structure. Then read the draft itself. It should quote your stated reason and dispute one thing with evidence. A helper who answers those questions with a biography instead has told you what you needed to know.

Can a TikTok permanently banned account recovery service bring an account back?

Only TikTok can, through an approved appeal, and then your content and account status are reinstated unless you already deleted them. A TikTok permanently banned account recovery service can prepare wording for that appeal and nothing beyond it. TikTok permanently banned account recovery expert help has the same ceiling, and a banned TikTok account recovery service has nothing honest to offer on a severe violation or on an account you cannot show is yours. Timing matters more than expertise here. Under-age bans have published windows of 113, 180 or 23 days depending on location, while other ban reasons have no published count, only a statement that personal data is deleted after a period. So request your data first. A TikTok suspended account recovery service is often unnecessary, since restrictions are temporary and violations expire after 90 days. In the EU, a refused appeal can also go to Appeals Centre Europe, whose decisions are non-binding.
